Dare to Dream Foundation

It is with great pleasure that we announce the Dare to Dream Foundation Dreamer and Dare to Dream Champion Scholarships.  Our goal is to ensure that local youth are equipped with the necessary tools to be successful.  With that same spirit Dare to Dream Foundation desires to offer these scholarships to at least one student per year.

 

These scholarships are intended to help students pursuing secondary education cover the costs of tuition.  To be considered for this scholarship you must:

 

• Be a current high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0

• Accepted or Enrolled in a post-secondary institution by time of award

• Write a 500 to 800 word essay on one the topics provided below.

 

Essay topics:

• The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure.  How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?

• Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.

 

The scholarships will be awarded during the month of May 2024 and applications must be submitted no later than April 15, 2024.  To apply please complete the enclosed scholarship application and email it along with your essay to info@DaretoDreamFoundation.com.
